What it replaces

A combined 3-layer HEPA and activated carbon cartridge, matching the design of the filter that ships with a new Philips 900 Series purifier. Philips sells it as one part rather than separate HEPA and carbon elements.

Confirmed on every market we checked

Unlike several accessories on this site that we’ve found confirmed on only one or two markets, this filter carries a live offer on Germany, France, Italy and Spain — genuinely the widest confirmed availability among the HEPA filters we’ve reviewed so far.

A real price gap for the identical part

We verified the same EAN — 8720389041877 — across all four listings, confirming it’s the same physical product everywhere. The price still varies meaningfully: roughly 29 € on the Spanish and German listings, against about 42 € on the French one. Worth checking current prices directly before ordering.

What isn’t stated

Philips doesn’t publish a specific replacement interval on this accessory’s own listing. Follow the guidance given for your specific purifier model — the interval is a property of how the purifier is used, not the filter part itself.

The questions that keep coming up

Does this filter fit the Philips 900 Series reviewed on this site?

Yes — this is the official replacement Philips sells for the 900 Series (and the related 8000 Series), matching the 3-layer HEPA and activated carbon combination the purifier ships with.

Why does the price differ so much between countries?

We checked and confirmed the same EAN, and therefore the same physical part, on all four markets — the price difference (≈29 € in Spain and Italy against ≈42 € in France) is a genuine market pricing gap, not a different product. Compare current prices across markets before ordering if shipping internationally is practical for you.
