De’Longhi rates the DLSA012 for window perimeters between 270 and 390 cm, covering a single casement or tilt window, two side-by-side leaves, or a sliding window. That figure is the one to measure against your own window before ordering — not the width or height alone, but the full perimeter the kit needs to seal around.

No drilling

The kit fits with self-adhesive hook-and-loop tape applied to the inside of the frame and to the window itself, rather than screws. De’Longhi states the window remains fully usable once the kit is installed — it can still be opened, tilted or closed as normal, which matters for a kit meant to stay up for a full cooling season.

What “universal” actually means here

De’Longhi’s own description positions the DLSA012 as the natural companion to its Pinguino range, but the compatibility claim it actually makes is broader: “compatible with all mobile air conditioners with exhaust hose.” That’s a generic statement, not a tested fit against a named brand or model — De’Longhi doesn’t list which units it verified. None of the four portable air conditioners reviewed on this site are named on the listing, so this kit is presented here as a generic accessory rather than a confirmed fit for any one of them. What isn’t published is just as relevant: no hose diameter, and no stated limit on the number of hoses the kit accommodates, so a dual-hose unit isn’t explicitly covered.
