What the maker puts in writing

  • Universal LCD, over 1,000 brands, digital automatic code search
  • NOT for window or portable air conditioners — stated twice
  • Not compatible with Frigidaire, Mitsubishi, Sanyo, Sharp AF-Q60RX
  • Range approximately 8 to 10 meters (26 to 33 ft)
  • 2 × AAA, not included · English manual in the package

Read the exclusion before the thousand

NOT for WINDOW / PORTABLE air condition.

That line appears in the first bullet and again in the fifth. Window and portable machines are most of what this site covers, and this remote does not drive them.

The thousand brands apply to wall-mounted splits and ductless units, which is a real and large market — just not the one that brought most readers to this page.

Mitsubishi, twice, both ways

The title sells Mitsubishi. The fifth bullet excludes it.

Both statements are on the same product page. If your machine is a Mitsubishi, the shelf has model-specific alternatives and this is not the gamble to take for seven dollars.

The questions that keep coming up

Will it work with my window air conditioner?

No. The listing says so twice, once in the first bullet and once in the fifth: *NOT for WINDOW / PORTABLE air condition*. If your machine sits in a window or on castors with a hose, this remote is the wrong product and the model-specific replacements on this shelf are the right one.

Does it support Mitsubishi or not?

The listing says both. The title reads *for Mitsubishi Toshiba HITACHI FUJITSU…* and the fifth bullet reads *It does not compatible with Frigidaire, Mitsubishi, Sharp AF-Q60RX, Sanyo air conditioners*. This page cannot resolve it; for a Mitsubishi, assume the exclusion is the operative statement.

What does 1,000-in-1 mean in practice?

A code database the remote searches until the machine responds. It works often and not always, and the listing is unusually forthcoming about where it does not. Seven remotes on this shelf take a different approach: one code, already loaded, no search.
