Rowenta

The simplest heater in its family, at the lowest price

Rowenta appears in one family here: electric space heaters.

What we found writing the review

A dial, not a number. The Compact Power SO2212F0 is controlled by a mechanical thermostat rather than a numeric setpoint — the simplest control of the heaters we compared in this family.

Up to 2,000 W on Turbo. Comparable peak output to the pricier heaters in this family, without the tip-over sensor the Dreo Atom 316 publishes explicitly alongside it.

No published safety feature list. Where Dreo names a tilt-detection sensor and overheat protection outright, Rowenta’s listing doesn’t make an equivalent claim for this model — worth checking directly if that matters to you.

    2,000 W max · ECO/Turbo · mechanical thermostat

A compact electric fan heater with two heat stages — 1,000 W ECO and 2,000 W Turbo — plus a fan-only cool-blow setting. Rowenta publishes a mechanical thermostat, an automatic overheat shutoff with an integrated thermal fuse, and a 15-year repairability commitment backed by a network of 6,200 repair centers.

Best for: A small room, bathroom, or desk where the priority is low upfront cost rather than precise temperature control.
