SwitchBot

A named CO2 sensor and a stated accuracy figure, at a mid-tier price

SwitchBot appears in one family here: air quality monitors.

What we found writing the review

NDIR, named explicitly. The Meter Pro CO2 states an NDIR sensor with ±50 ppm accuracy — a genuine technology claim, not left as “Not published” the way the TFA Dostmann and Airthings monitors in this family leave their CO2 sensor type.

Bluetooth first, hub optional. Connectivity runs through Bluetooth directly, with an optional Hub for remote access — a middle ground between the TFA Dostmann’s no-connectivity design and the Airthings’ mandatory Wi-Fi/app setup.

A mid-tier price for a named sensor. Roughly midway between the cheapest and most expensive monitors we reviewed in this family, for the one genuinely disclosed sensor technology among the three.

  • SwitchBot Meter Pro CO2

NDIR sensor · ±50 ppm accuracy · Bluetooth + app

A Bluetooth CO2, temperature, and humidity monitor built around a Swiss-made NDIR sensor, refreshing readings every second with a claimed ±50 ppm accuracy. The large display works standalone; alarms, app notifications, and the full 6-in-1 screen need a separate SwitchBot Hub 2.

Best for: Someone who wants a stated NDIR accuracy figure and is willing to add a SwitchBot Hub 2 later for app alerts and automation.
