One window plate, several machines

Four inches and six inches are the rigid duct sizes an inline fan, a dryer or a grow tent uses. Five point one and five point nine are the flexible hose sizes a portable air conditioner uses.

Why do the duct adapters matter?

Because 4-inch and 6-inch rigid duct is the standard for inline fans, grow tents and dryers, and an AC hose adapter will not take it. This is the only kit on this shelf that comes with both, so one window plate serves several machines.

What do the screens keep out?

The maker names birds, rats, snakes and trash. An exhaust hose left in a window is an open pipe into the room; two kits on this shelf have a screen and two do not mention one.

Will it fit my window?

16.93 to 61 inches, in four plates of 16.9 inches, for sliding windows only. The listing asks you to check first, which is the right instruction: plate kits do not work on casement or awning windows at all.
