Bosch

A recognized name, mode-based control, and the lowest extraction rate of its price tier

Bosch appears in one family here: dehumidifiers.

What we found writing the review

Modes instead of a percentage. The Dry 4000 is controlled through three presets — Auto, Night, Laundry — rather than a numeric humidity target, which the COMFEE’ and Pro Breeze units in this same family both publish.

The largest stated room coverage, at the lowest extraction rate. Bosch rates coverage up to 33 m², ahead of its compressor-driven rivals, despite a 16 L/24h extraction figure that is actually the lowest of the three units we compared.

A price that matched its own list price. Unlike several other units in this family, the Dry 4000’s current price matched its listed price almost exactly on every market we checked — no inflated reference price to discount from.

    16 L/24h · 2.5 L tank · 3 automated modes

A compressor dehumidifier from Bosch rated at 16 liters removed per 24 hours for rooms up to 33 m (108 ft)², with a half-transparent 2.5 L tank, three automated modes (Auto, Night, Laundry) called 'Easy Dry Select,' a stated 38 dB noise level, an integrated handle and castors. Bosch does not publish WiFi or app control for this model.

Best for: Buyers who want a known appliance brand and simple mode-based control rather than a numeric humidity dial, and who don't need app control or continuous drainage.
